发生医疗事故后家属应该得到怎样的赔偿

我弟弟2004年15岁，被医生诊断为脑部蛛网膜囊肿，术后病人剧烈头疼主治医生又叫我们到外面买癫痫药给他服用，病人还是剧烈疼痛医院又说是伤口感染后来医生给我弟弟打了有安眠成份的针，打过之后他就跟植物人一样不会说话不会眨眼，呼吸要用气管吃饭也是从鼻孔通管喂流质，尽管这样两个月后还是死了，我父母在我弟弟死后三年里多次找主治医生他们都不愿意负责，也许是为了耳根清静2007年他们就用信封装着三万块钱给我父母没有任何书面形式的说明是赔偿金，我父母都是农民跟本就不懂怎么打官司，找了律师他们都不愿意给我们打，但是我知道一条生命不只是三万块，我们更要讨回公道，在此我恳求社会有学之士帮帮我们农民工好吗？

1.就医过程的完整经过：本人写出材料。如对医院哪方面不满，自己看到的治疗过程，病人因此所受到的损害后果（死亡、昏迷、残疾……）

2.医疗费用清单（收费明细）=每日收费清单（小长条）

3.病历复印件：

《医疗机构病历管理规定》第十五条医疗机构可以为申请人复印或复制的病历资料包括：门（急）诊病历、住院病历中的住院志（即入院记录）、体温单、医嘱单、化验单（检验报告）、医学影像检查资料、特殊检查（治疗）同意书、手术同意书、手术及麻醉记录单、病理报告、护理记录、出院记录。

复印件须医院盖章。若医院不配合复印病历，可到当地卫生局医政科举报。

附：

《医疗机构病历管理规定》第十二条医疗机构应当受理下列人员和机构复印或者复制病历资料的申请：
　　（一）患者本人或其代理人；
　　（二）死亡患者近亲属或其代理人；
　　（三）保险机构。

第十六条医疗机构受理复印或者复制病历资料申请后，应当在医务人员按规定时限完成病历后予以提供。
