经法院调解，双方当事人达成调解协议:被告新经发公司为处理双双的后事曾垫付原告宋寿昌夫妇.2元，该款新经发公司不再要求两原告归还。另外，被告新经发公司再一次性补偿两原告宋寿昌夫妇因双双死亡产生的各项损失20万元。
